Steps to create my first AI photoshoot

How do I start a new shoot in Veeton

To generate new AI fashion photos, you need to launch a new shoot:

  • From the dashboard homepage, click Create New Shoot in the Quick Actions section.

  • Or, at any time, use the New Shoot button in the left-hand sidebar for quick access.

  • Choose a name for this new shoot

How to Select the Clothing Items (SKUs) You Want to Generate

Before starting your AI photoshoot, you first need to select the clothing items (SKUs) you want Veeton to generate.

  1. Choose one or several SKUs from your uploaded products. These are the individual garments (e.g., a T-shirt, a pair of pants, or a dress) that will be turned into photorealistic on-model images.

  2. At this step, you’re only selecting the individual products you want to generate separately (this is not where you combine multiple items into an outfit).

  3. Creating full outfits or looks (e.g., matching a top, bottom, and accessories) will be done in the next window, where you can style and match several products together.

How to Match Clothing Items to Create a Complete Look

Once you’ve selected your primary SKU, you can now match additional clothing items to create a full outfit or styled look:

  1. On the left side of the screen, you’ll see the list of SKUs you previously selected.

  2. To build a complete outfit, drag and drop other garments (tops, bottoms, coats, or accessories) onto your primary selection.

  3. Veeton will then pair these two garments, for example: a T-shirt with pants or a blouse with a skirt.

  4. This feature is ideal for cross-selling or presenting your collections as styled ensembles for e-commerce product pages and lookbooks.

How to choose your Virtual Model

Once your clothing items (SKUs) are selected, the next step is to choose the virtual model who will wear them in your AI-generated fashion photos:

  1. Browse the virtual model library displayed on the right-hand side of the screen. Veeton offers a diverse selection of models, including various ages, genders, body types, and skin tones.

  2. To assign a model, simply drag & drop the model’s thumbnail onto the corresponding clothing item or look on the left panel.

  3. Repeat the drag-and-drop action if you have multiple SKUs or outfits to generate, ensuring each has an assigned model.

  4. If none of the models fit your brand’s needs, you can generate a custom virtual model designed specifically for your collections.

How to create your Own Virtual Model

If the models available in Veeton’s library don’t perfectly fit your brand’s needs, you can create a custom virtual model directly in the platform.

Here’s how to do it:

Open the Model Selection Page

  • Once you’re in the Models step of your shoot creation workflow, you’ll see the full library of existing Veeton models.

  • At the top right of the page, click Add New Model.

Fill in the Customization Form

A panel will open where you can define the attributes of your new model:

  • Gender → Choose between Women and Men

  • Size → Select body size: Slim, Average, Plus-Size, Athletic

  • Age Range → Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult, Middle-aged, Senior.

  • Ethnicity → Latino, Middle Eastern, Black, White, East Asian, Multiracial.

  • Prompt field (optional) → Add specific details for customization (e.g., “Model wearing a small red bandana”).

Generate Your Model

  • Click Add New Model to confirm.

  • Even if the model doesn’t immediately appear in your library preview, it’s already available for your shoot. Veeton will generate it in the background and apply it before the final generation of your fashion photos.

  • Once created, your custom model is stored permanently in your personal library, so you can reuse the same mannequin across multiple shoots for consistent branding.

How to Choose the Shooting Angle and Pose

Selecting the right shooting angle and pose is essential to showcase your product effectively in Veeton’s AI-generated fashion photos. This step defines how your garment will appear on the virtual model.

Available Angles and Poses

  • Angles: Full Body, Upper Body, and Back View.

  • Poses: Select from various poses to give your photos a dynamic and realistic feel.

Drag & Drop to Assign

  • To apply an angle / pose to your outfit, simply drag & drop the chosen pose onto the selected garment or look.

  • You can assign multiple poses / angles to the same outfit to create several images: perfect for enriching an e-commerce product page or lookbook.

Confirm Your Selection

  • Click Next Step to proceed to final preview.

  • You can always return to adjust angles before confirming the generation.

Generating the On-Model Photo

Once you’ve selected your SKUs, matched items (if any), assigned a virtual model, and chosen your shooting angles and poses, you’re ready for the final step: launching the AI generation.

Review Your Selections

  • Double-check that each garment or look has the correct model, angles, and poses assigned.

  • Make sure all SKUs you want to generate are included in the shoot list.

Launch the Generation

  • Click the Launch Generation button at the bottom right of the screen to start the AI rendering process.

  • Veeton will process your packshots and generate photorealistic on-model fashion photos based on your chosen settings.

Processing Time

  • The generation takes only a few minutes, even for multiple SKUs or angles.

  • While your shoot is processing, you can continue browsing your dashboard or start preparing your next upload.

Preview the Results

  • Once complete, your generated images will appear in the Shoots section and under Recent Shoots on your dashboard, ready for download and use.
